Track Display flow

Post by Emerogork » Fri Mar 28, 2014 3:38 am

Up until recently, as the cursor arrived at the right border when recording, the screen would reset to have it at the left and it would sweep across showing the new audio being recorded. I must have clicked on something because it now it sweeps off the screen leaving me only with audio that was recorded.

I know it is still recording as the meters are fluctuating and when I use the HSB to catch up with the cursor, it shows me what I want to see but then moves off the screen again.

How do I get this back to seeing the cursor on the screen while it is recording and showing me what is being recorded?

Is it possible to set the cursor at the center and have the track flow to the left?

Check in "Edit > Preferences > Tracks".
"Update display while playing" should be ticked (enabled).

That is not currently an option, but I've added your vote to the feature request.
