HELP! Behringer Xenyx 1024USB
I recently bought a Behringer Xenyx 1024USB. I have a windows 8 with audacity. This is my question... I have no speakers or other equipment for the mixer, just the mixer and a rode mic. Audacity recognizes the behringer and the correct driver, but I am getting no sound...

Do you get the bouncing red recording sound meters and blue waves (the sizes may be different)?

Then you are getting a recording whether you can hear it or not. Finish a short recording and press Stop.
Windows sometimes likes to mess with the sound settings. Unplug the mixer. Can you hear playback from the Audacity? I assume the computer has speakers or headphones even though you didn't say so...
If that's true, plug the mixer back in, restart Audacity (to get the mixer back) and then change the Audacity Device Toolbar to get the speakers back at the same time.

If something about that didn't work right, post back.
