Hey Guys
Hope you're well. Can someone help?
We'd love to offer a skinned version of Audacity for free to our customers. Is this possible and allowed? (I wasn't sure if there were only certain developers which were allowed to work on the project.)
We'd of course make clear it is audacity.
Thanks for all your help in advance!
Thanks
Mark Brown

Re: Custom Version of Audacity
Mark, the Forum is only for technical support so is not the best place to ask questions like this. It is better to write to our feedback address as you have done in the past.
If you mean a version of Audacity that is unchanged except that you have added EditorsKeys branding, no we won't want to endorse that because we feel it waters down the Audacity brand too much (even if you said "Powered by Audacity(R)").
If you are talking about adding some new features to your version of Audacity (for example, shortcuts for particular settings of an effect, or an Effect Manager to control installation and menu categorisation of effects) then the developers may possibly be interested on working with you on such features. You should write to the feedback address about that, because no developers read the Forum.
