Can't seem to Set Default in Metadata Editor
Using Audacity 2.0.5 Alpha, I can save and load metadata but if I "Set Default", the next time I run Audacity it still starts off with the previous default. I have the intended default saved already so I can just load it, but didn't Set Default once apply to subsequent editing sessions?

Re: Can't seem to Set Default in Metadata Editor
If you want to use an alpha build of Audacity it's usually better to compile from recent code (Audacity is at 2.0.6-alpha now).DickN wrote:Using Audacity 2.0.5 Alpha, I can save and load metadata but if I "Set Default", the next time I run Audacity it still starts off with the previous default. Set Default only populates fields if they don't already contain values.
So if you set default values but import an MP3 that has different tag values or open a project that has different tag values, then those different values will still appear.
See http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/me ... l#Template .
