sound and project migration issues
Hi. I was wondering if i can migrate sounds and sound projects free of loss in quality. Any known formats and tools for such operations?
Re: sound and project migration issues
An audacity project is made up of a "project file" and separate "data".
To safely move an Audacity project you need to move both the project file and all of the data and keep them both together. How to do this is described here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/au ... jects.html
Note that if you are migrating to a different computer platform, all file names must be valid for both the old and the new system (see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/fa ... ml#illegal)
