Audacity Forum

When I listen to a recording in Audacity, it appears that a portion of the recording is recorded on top of an existing recording. I can hear both recordings and I am trying to separate them. Any thoughts or assistance will be appreciated.
It appears that only one track shows on the system with I listen to it.
