4 part vocal tracks help pleas

Post by fanznanz » Mon Sep 02, 2013 6:20 pm

I am new to this program so I could use some adivce. I would like to take a 4 part vocal track and split it into four separate tracks so that I could mute one of them for rehearsal purposes. OR I could import the four separate tracks to mute one then blend the four into one. Any suggestions. I have read the dubbing tutorial , but I do not need a voice over procedure. Any help would be so appreciated. Thanks. :)

Unmixing the ingredients of a cake rarely works.

Yes that will work if you have recordings of the separate voices. Just import the tracks and use the track mute buttons to mute those voices that you don't want to hear, then export (File menu) to create a new file.
