Hello,
how do you use the time shift tool for one track so it starts playing after another, to create a mixtape?
For me it moves everything at once.

how do you use the time shift tool for one track so it starts playing after another, to create a mixtape?
For me it moves everything at once.

Time Shift Tool shifts all the selected tracks when you drag from inside the selection in any of those tracks. Otherwise, it only drags the track you are hovering over.

So you probably want to deselect the tracks you don't want to move, by using UP or DOWN arrow on the keyboard, then when that selected track has the yellow focus border, hot ENTER on the keyboard to deselect it.

If you prefer using the mouse, hold SHIFT and click above Mute / Solo to deselect the tracks you don't want to move.

Sometimes, it may be quicker to click (without SHIFT) on one of the tracks you want to move, which selects only that track, then SHIFT-click above Mute/Solo on the other tracks you also wish to select.
