Audacity Forum

Hi,

I had Audacity before with Windows Vista x64 and was able to record sound directly from sound card. I don't remember what I did at that time.
I'm now with Windows 8 and the only way it records is by the Microphone.

I don't want to disable it but I would like Audacity to record the sound coming from the sound card only.

All I have is 2 stereo speakers and 1 Microphone connected to the computer. What would I need to have it back as before ?

That's perfect. After reading in there I found that I did not have my Sound card driver which is SoundMAx audio Driver.
After installing, I got the Stero MIX.
