Thanks for FAQ

Post by ricklnewman » Wed Apr 04, 2012 11:18 am

There is an excellence surrounding Audacity and this Forum that I really appreciate.
I had a problem with installing Audacity on Windows XP and the solution posted in FAQ was articulate and successful.
This was simply a rewarding experience for me.

Thank You

Thanks! Though actually we could do better and install the missing redistributable package for you where the Audacity installer is being used.

Thanks seconded - it's useful to get feedback.

I'm planning to start work in the next few weeks on adding a few more succint FAQs to the 2.0.1 (next release) manual, so when that version gets released the FAQs should be even more useful hopefully.

If you'd like a proof-reader, I'd be happy to oblige. Same time-zone as yourself but t'other side of the Pennines!

You probably noticed I added one or two new FAQ ideas and possible text into the editornote on that page.

Yup I'd seen that - thanks for that Gale.
