To split a track at the current position of the cursor, one used to be able to press CTRL+I. In 2.3.0, this does no longer work. Why did this get removed?

"Ctrl + i" is in the "Full" set of keyboard shortcuts. (The "Standard" set has less shortcuts so as to leave some keys available for users to set custom shortcuts.)
So to get "Ctrl + i" back, you can either set it as a custom shortcut, or enable the "Full" set. (see this page for further details: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/key ... ences.html)

D'oh! Didn't know custom shortcuts were a thing, never had to delve through the settings until now. It's working again. Thanks for the help!

We have logged an Enhancement entry in our bug tracker to restore this very useful shortcut to the reduced default Standard set
