Hi, I need help installing the latest version of Audacity. So far I have downloaded the source code but do not know ho to install it. I know there is a proper way to install all dependencies and have it running, but I do not know how. Please help.

There are step-by-step instructions for building an older version (2.2.0) on Ubuntu, which may be helpful, though the instructions in the INSTALL file are more up to date.
