- which version of Linux you are using,
- the exact three-section version number of Audacity from Help menu > About Audacity,
- whether you installed your distribution's release, PPA version, or compiled Audacity from source code.

Making music
Hallo i want to mix some songs meaning make a clip about 20-30 minutes. How can i do it? I do not want to put the songs one to another

What would you call the final show?
Are you trying to create a dance mix with other people's songs? Like the end of each song is faded into the beginning of the next one while hopefully matching beat and rhythm patterns so nobody ever has to stop dancing?
