No Limiter in Effects [SOLVED]

Hello!
I use Audacity on my Gentoo Linux system. Almost everything's OK, but at one time I've discovered, that I have no limiter among the effects. I don't know what could be the reason. And I think that Limiter is one of the standard effects in each GNU/Linux Audacity build.
Any help would be welcome.

The Limiter effect was added to Audacity relatively recently. Which version of Audacity do you have (look in "Help > About Audacity").

Audacity 2.0.5 is too old. The Limiter effect was added on 2nd June 2015.
If you are able to build Audacity from the source code, the tarball is available from FossHub. The most recent version is Audacity 2.1.2rc (pre-release version) and in a few days there will be 2.1.2 rc3. The official release version of Audacity 2.1.2 is due out in a couple of weeks. The current release version is 2.1.1. All are available from
