LADSPA plugin with 2 input and 4 output channels

Post by markmerz » Thu Dec 10, 2015 8:30 pm

Hi!

I have a ladspa plugin which takes two input channels and outputs four channels. Is it possible to use that plugin in Audacity in a workflow like that?:

1. Import 2-track wav file
2. Apply ladspa plugin and get 4 tracks as result.
3. Profit! That is measure, analyze, rewrite plugin and repeat...

Plugin works but affects only two tracks and discards two other track from plugin output.

Unfortunately, Audacity only supports two output channels, I think.

Effects in Audacity must (currently) have the same number of output channels as there are input channels.
