The recent LTS release of Ubuntu Studio comes with Audacity that does not load LADSPA plugins.
Has anything changed in Audacity itself, or this is the fault of distribution packagers?

Audacity 2.0.5 (and 2.0.6 alpha) load LADSPA plug-ins fine on my (Debian) machine, so I don't see that it's likely to be an Audacity thing.
Do LADSPA plug-ins work OK in other programs? (for example in Ardour).
