I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and Audacity 2.0.0 (didn't compile it myself).
I'm trying to install Vamp plugins, specifically the QM Vamp plugins from http://isophonics.net/QMVampPlugins. I took the three files they told me to and copied them into /usr/local/lib/vamp/, /usr/lib/vamp/, $HOME/vamp/, $HOME/.vamp, and usr/share/audacity/plugins, which is where all my Nyquist plugins are (but apparently this doesn't work?). I thought this would cover all my bases, but apparently not. Any advice?

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade (see https://www.audacityteam.org/download/).

Have you enabled VAMP plug-ins in the Audacity Effects Preferences?
