Input/Output dropdown lists bug

The Audacity input/ouput dropdowns are too short for some of the idiotic "yard-and-a-half" names popping up all over the place lately. The result is that for TerraTec only the front part shows which is always the same. There IS a bubble on mouseover but it's too small and shows the nature of the selection rather then the full selected name. Maybe we'd need a double bubble to be more indicative or everything or maybe truncated descriptors(?).

You can widen the Device Toolbar by clicking on the bar at the right and dragging it rightwards.

For what it's worth, the "yard and a half" length names are not made up by Audacity, they are abbreviations of the ALSA device name.

I didn't say they were Audacity's doing, but they are a worsening plague.

BTW the other toolbar that's really worth widening is the Meter Toolbar (it's about as useful as a chocolate fire-guard at its default size imho)

I have mine spread across the whole width of the Audacity Window.
