Lost waveform view

Post by mikehr » Mon Aug 03, 2020 12:53 pm

Hi,

I am new to Audacity and have been working on a project. Somehow I have lost waveform view and have what I think is a spectrum view. I cannot see how to change back to waveform and hoped you could assist.

I am on Linux Mint 2.3.3 using distribution version from Audacity website.

Image shows current view

Many thanks

Mike

Click on the name of the track ("Long Audio"), then select "Waveform" from the dropdown menu.

Click on the track name or the little downward pointing black triangle at the top of the Track Control Panel and select Waveform.

It's also possible that you may have turned on Multi-view - if so you will need to turn that off.

That's not applicable to Audacity 2.3.3.
