Equal-power xfade? (Or, adjustable fade was deleted by upgrade)

apt recently upgraded Audacity to v2.4.1.

I was just trying to use Adjustable Fade and I couldn't enable it.

It seems to be missing completely from /usr/share/audacity/nyquist.

So, what is the currently-supported way to do equal-power crossfades?

I assume that you are using the ubuntuhandbook1 PPA.
Unfortunately they have messed up and a whole bunch of files are missing. I'd suggest that you report the problem to the PPA maintainer - hopefully they might fix it if enough people complain.

I see... that must be frustrating for the Audacity team.

The package details on my system say "Debian Multimedia Maintainers" -- so maybe not that specific PPA?
