I have a linux and no gui. Does it provide web gui or control via command?
Re: How to use it on a system without gui?
Audacity is designed to be used as a GUI application. It does not have a web interface, and very few command-line features.
Audacity does have a scripting API, but it should not be used on a public network.
Audacity requires wxgtk.
What's the application? Why are you using Linux without a GUI? Would SoX be a better fit for your needs?
