Linux unbuntu
2.3.3 audacity version.
Everything was working fine an hour ago or so, came back from lunch, now I'm getting "please select a time within a clip" error message when I try to punch and roll I'm not sure what's wrong, haven't changed what I am doing and didn't change any settings. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Click on the track at the point where you want the punch & roll recording to start (for punch & roll, it must be within an existing track waveform).
