Audacity 2.2.1 Variable Latency Problem

Help for Audacity on GNU/Linux.

  • which version of Linux you are using,
  • the exact three-section version number of Audacity from Help menu > About Audacity,
  • whether you installed your distribution's release, PPA version, or compiled Audacity from source code.

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade (see https://www.audacityteam.org/download/).

Hi steve , the quality of sound is good and i don 't have cracks and pops , i also tried to record using the embedded audio sound card of my pc as playback device (while recording with the focusrite 2i2 but the problem is the same after a while if the tracks segment is longer than about 16 seconds start going out of time

What settings are you using in the "Device Toolbar"? (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/device_toolbar.html)
