Envelope Tools: Copying and Pasting

Post by VoxAxos » Fri Mar 13, 2020 4:36 am

O/S: Xubuntu 18.04
Audacity Version: 2.2.1
Installed from OS provided package

I have a situation where I would very much like to be able to either:
  • Copy and paste envelopes defined on one audio track to another; or -
  • Paste an audio track over another audio track, but preserving the envelope data
Is this possible? Either one would work for my use-case.

... Copy and paste envelopes defined on one audio track to another ...
The magic-phrase is "envelope follower", e.g. Steve's dynamic-mirror plugin.
