Video playback while mixing sound

Help for Audacity on GNU/Linux.

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade (see https://www.audacityteam.org/download/).

Video playback while mixing sound

Hi,

I am on Audacity 2.3.2 and I was wondering :

Is there a way to playback a video while mixing and playing sound?

This feature is available in Adobe Audition so if it's on Audacity, it would be great!

No, Audacity is audio only.

I assume that you mean video synchronised to the audio. Unfortunately Audacity does not support that, and does not support Jack Transport so you can't synch it to Xjadeo either. The only Linux software that I'm aware of to do that, is Ardour.
