Hi all,

Happy Audacity user for years, only recently upgraded to version 2.2.1
I noticed this when zooming in: New to me, but maybe not a new feature?
Why has it been changed into header pins, instead of 'connecting the dots' describing the wave?
Is there a way to change it back to the old style?
I much prefer to be able to see the angles of the connections between the dots, for when i want to use the 'Draw tool'.

There is an option to connect the dots under Edit -> Preferences -> Tracks -> Display Samples.

It's very annoying , especially when you want to sync audio and see the exact delay between to audios (in milliseconds).

OK, but I'm not sure how that helps... Either way, the "dots" represent the true digital data and that's as precise as you can get. i.e. At 44.1kHz you have about 44 samples per millisecond. There is no digital information in-between the samples. At playback time the DAC "connects the dots" and you get a continuous analog waveform.
