For Dolby Stereo
How Can I Create Stereo Dolby Using Audacity In Linux?
Re: For Dolby Stereo
Dolby Stereo is a trademark of Dolby Laboratories. For true "Dolby Stereo", you would need a plug-in from, or licensed by Dolby Laboratories. Such plug-ins do exist, but (a) they are very expensive (around $700 USD) and (b) they may now work with Audacity (though I've not tested).
If you just want to make a multi-channel audio file, you need to use Audacity's "Advanced Mixing Options". See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/adv ... tions.html

Re: For Dolby Stereo
There are several Dolby variations, so what do you mean by "Dolby Stereo"? Are you talking about the old Dolby Surround or "Pro Logic" where rear-channel information was matrix-encoded into two-channel stereo?
That can be done and it's not hard to "fake it" and get rear-channel sound from a Pro Logic receiver, but it's hardly worth it since we can do true 5.1 or 7.1 sound.
