Weird clicks

So I’ve been using Audacity to record mixes for a few years now but I’ve never had this problem before. I’ve done some research and if the computer is slow it could cause this type of problems according to previous threads. I’ve used the very same computer to get a few successful recordings so it’s probably not that.

I get weird clicks in my recordings. I’m trying to determine if its a problem outside of Audacity and if I have to re-record everything or if there is an easy fix…

Damaged sample of the mix: (there are blips all over the full recording)

If this problem gets solved and I don’t have to do a new recording I’m eternally grateful!

I don’t see or hear the clicks, but I assume you can.

Try the suggestions on this page.

Also, we recommend you download and install the latest Audacity.

I noticed that the clicks are coming while I’m listening to the track through the mixer as well so it can’t be an audacity problem. I’ve sent an email to the manufacturer and hopefully they can help.

Thanks for your reply Bill!
