debug screen and crashing

Post by billadams » Mon Jan 01, 2018 1:57 pm

I have a Mac Pro, using macOS 10.13.2 (17C88) and Audacity 2.2.1

I had an update on my OS software coincidental to the December update of Audacity and now each time I try to access a previously accessible MP3 file a debug screen appears and I can go no further. It either eventually crashes on its own or I have to do a forced quit. I followed some of the suggested remedies, deleting the plugin files and even the audacity.cfg, but nothing works.
