I can’t find this in the online help and I have a vague recollection it used to be different.
Audacity 2.2.0, OS X, Sierra. Installed via .DMG
If one manually enters a cursor position in the Audio Position fields at the bottom of the screen, shouldn’t a key-press (ENTER or something else) put the cursor at the audio position entered? I seem to recall this did work at one time, but perhaps my memory is wrong.
Another way to achieve the same thing is to change the drop down to “Start and Length of Selection,” enter your desired cursor position in the first set of fields under that drop-down and leave the length fields at 0h00m00s. You can also use the “Start and End of Selection” option in the drop-down, but you have to enter your desired cursor position twice.
Is there another way to achieve the same thing?
Cheers,
