That's more or less how I work:
my_project
- myproject.aup
- myprodect_data
my_project_resources
- my_project_notes.txt
- my_project_lyrics.pdf
- my_project_imported files
- - file1.wav
- - file2.wav
My way of working as well. Also, I create the top-level folder, save and name the project as the very first thing - before I record or import anything. Which means I turn off the warning about saving an empty project.

I didn't discuss it. I just complained about it. I'm not a developer. I'm modeling the Lowly User.
Actually you've discussed this many times here on the Forum - and I carry your views forward to Team/dev discussions on this
And actually your views helped to shape James' views on this ...
And yes "modeling the Lowly User" is useful and appreciated - I try to do the same myself for QA testing
(it's one of the reasons that I don't build the app on Windows or Mac).
