Compatibility Issues Downloading LAME with IOS Sierra (10.12

Please state which version of macOS you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".
Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

Compatibility Issues Downloading LAME with IOS Sierra (10.12
I am able to successfully complete the installation steps but when I got to save the file as an MP3 it will not allow me to save. I get an error message. Help

We don't know what instructions you are looking at, but the only instructions about Audacity that you can trust are our own. Here are our instructions for installing LAME: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/inst ... ml#maclame.
