Using the touchpad for navigation

It sure would be nice to be able to use the touchpad to navigate around Audacity instead of having to use the mouse pointer to move right or left while editing. :D

Shift Touchpad-Swipe will move the edit view sooner or later (left and right).

If you use a Magic Mouse the latest alpha test version of Audacity can use the left/right finger movement on the "control surface" to navigate the Audacity waveform. I don't know if that is the case with 2.1.2 as I only have the alpha on my Mac currently.
