can't import from itunes

can't import from itunes
audacity 2.1.1 on el capitan 10.11.5. i no longer have the option to import audio from itunes. it only shows garageband when i navigate to my music folder. it used to show both. it also did this on the latest release version, so i went back to 2.1.1. any ideas?

Even in 2.1.2, if iTunes is open, you can drag files from iTiunes to the Audacity icon in the Dock.
Otherwise you could drag your iTunes "Music" folder to the Finder sidebar to give quicker access in Audacity file open dialogues.

Another thing you can't do in 2.1.2 but could do in 2.1.1 is drag any audio files directly into Audacity. We have fixed that particular problem for the next release of Audacity.
