Installed version 2.1.1 today and tried to run. Installed under El Capitan on iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011), 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5. Any solution. One was given but, I don't see a 'audacity.cfg in the subfolder for application support/audacity/
Thanks
Dave

Also when you have a problem, please post in the Mac board, not in "Feedback and Reviews". More people whom it affects will see it that way. I moved your topic here.

Re: Version 2.1.1 not opening
Sorry for not posting in the right area. The problem I was having was Audacity crashing when I tried to open application. I did finally find the audacity.cfg file. After removal of this file, Audacity was able to run and I was able to record. Not sure why a .cfg would cause a problem. Anyway, everything seem to be working.
