I meant for example, try running some effects and see if you can still use the project window afterwards.

Similarly, try FIle > Edit Metadata..., Audacity > Preferences..., Help > Audio Device Info... and others. The problem may not be confined to the Plug- in Manager.

Yes, thank you. I can see that. wx Widgets 3 again, I assume, and it affects other toolbars in the upper tooldock area.

I think you will have to use keyboard shortcuts instead.

Yes please I was going to suggest starting a new topic or topics if the Sound Activated Crashes are fixed as I think they are.

Tool Tips now work. I removed one tool bar and then restored it and then the tool tips started working. I suppose they may have started working earlier, but I probably would have noticed. Anyhow, thought you might be interested.
