Generating Blue Noise

Help for Audacity on macOS.

and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".

How can I generate blue noise?

Generate white noise, then filter it with the Equalization effect, Use the "Draw curves" mode and make a line from lower left to upper right. The steepness of the slope governs how "blue" the resulting noise will be.
