Is The Latest Audacity Compatible with OS 10.10?

Please state which version of macOS you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".
Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

Is The Latest Audacity Compatible with OS 10.10?
I want to use Audacity for digitizing hundreds of my LPs. The system requirements for Audacity for the Mac state that it works with OS 10.9, but there is no mention of 10.10 compatibility. Would like to hear from anyone who has used it successfully with 10.10. Thanks!

2.0.6 does not officially support Yosemite. The next 2.1.0 version when released should do so.
Several people have found 2.0.6 fine on Yosemite when recording LP's, but a few find crashes when opening a new project or saving or exporting. Those crashes are probably still in 2.1.0 but we have not been able to reproduce them.
2.0.6 does not support Apple Audio Unit effects. If you want to use those, please use the latest 2.1.0 release from the top of http://www.audacity.homerow.net/index.p ... order=desc which should be as good as 2.1.0 release will be.

For the record, Audacity 2.1.0 is now out, and it seems to be working fine for me on 10.10.2.
