Nyquist missing files
I am running Mac os 10.5.8 and Audacity 2.03 the latest download. It tells me certain Nyquist files are missing and none of the effects are therefore available. Is there a remedy for this?

Re: Nyquist missing files
The latest Audacity is 2.0.4: http://audacityteam.org/download/ though it may have crash problems when importing files.
Your problem is almost certainly happening because you are running Audacity from the DMG. Drag the "Audacity" folder out of the DMG into /Applications, then unmount the DMG and run Audacity from its folder in /Applications.

Open Finder then look in the list on the left (at the bottom of the list). Under "Devices" you'll see the Audacity DMG. Right-click or control-click over it and unmount it.berrybunbun wrote:I am experiencing the same problem too. How do you unmount the DMG?Gale Andrews wrote:

Then if Audacity is still running, choose Audacity > Quit Audacity.
Now start Audacity by double-clicking the Audacity icon which is the Audacity folder in /Applications.
