Recording shuts off before the end. How do I extend the recording length?

Have you run out of disk space?
How long is the recording?
What are you trying to record?
Are you using "timer record"?
We've no idea what you are doing unless you tell us.

I have lots. of disc space. The length of the recording is just over 3 1/2 minutes
