2.0.3 on 10.8.4 Crashing on startup due to Waves[SOLVED]

I have two separate crash logs. One crashed on thread 59 ThreadSpool? and the other after I tried to restart my computer on thread 0, but after getting a few weird error messages, like Can't find Core Pointer Function.
Sorry for the links, but the message was too long for the board.

Thanks for the reports.
Waves 9 Audio Units or other Waves versions aren't compatible with Audacity at the moment, as described in the 2.0.3 Release Notes:
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Relea ... ram_Launch .

Great, I will try that. I haven't kept up on the release notes as I haven't used audacity in quite some time. Thank you for the link and advice.

Thanks. I'll lock this topic now.
I hope that for either 2.0.4 or 2.0.5 we'll be able to improve the experience so that at least you can launch Audacity with Waves present.
