Audacity for Mac not full installing[SOLVED]

Help for Audacity on macOS.

Please state which version of macOS you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

Audacity for Mac not full installing[SOLVED]

I don't know if anyone has come across this problem, but it seems after installing Audacity for Mac on my mac, and then eject the installer, I close audacity and then try to open it again, Audacity will not open and I have to install the program again. Is anyone else familiar with problem?

It sounds like you are running Audacity directly from the dmg and are not fully installing it. Please check the installation instructions here: http://audacityteam.org/download/mac
