High Pass Filter disappeared

The High Pass Filter in Effects disappeared. I now see Apple: AUHipass, but it does not work the same. How do I find the High Pass Filter again?

Do you have all the rest of the tools and filters like this:

Under Effects, nothing below Apple: RoundTripAAC. (using Mac OS X, v 10.8.2, Audacity v 1.3.13-beta unicode). Someone suggested I un-install and re-install.

The effects below the Apple ones are special, separate files and can go missing. They're not a native part of the program.
