Every time I try to save, audacity crashes and closes. It happens in the "save" dialogue box window. The "save" is grayed out and when I go to choose what folder I want to save in, it shuts down. I have an iMac version 10.6.8.
This happens when I'm trying to save as an .aup and when I try to export as a .wav
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling audacity.

Re: Crashing when I try to SAVE
Make sure you are using Audacity 2.0.3 from here http://audacityteam.org/download/mac .
install Audacity properly according to the instructions on that page. Do not run Audacity from the DMG. Press the yellow Stop button before you save.
If the problem continues open FInder, Go > Utilities > Disk Utility and run "Verify Disk" then "Repair Permissions".
