Help for Audacity on macOS.

Please state which version of macOS you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".


Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

Effects

I've trying to effects in my piece - but some presets are in the drop down box - i.e. graphic eq - I wanted to set to a rock eq but is wasn't there. I trying other effects and some them work, others don't. Can anyone help? :?:

As with several of your other posts, you have not provided nearly enough information about the problem to allow us to even start helping you. We cannot see your machine. Please give a detailed, step by step account of what you are doing and what problem you encounter, then we will probably be able to help you.

I am trying to use Audacity - in the effects drop box - there is no rock setting in the graphic eq tab. :?:

You have to experiment with what sounds good to you. Most rock EQ curves leave the middle frequencies and the very bottom frequencies alone (zero gain), and increase all the other frequencies.
