Please state which version of macOS you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Audacity menu > About Audacity".

Piano recording
I'm using Audacity on my MacBook Pro, OSx 10.5.8, wanting to record from the live piano via a Blue Snowball USB mic. This may not be strictly an Audacity matter, but I'd like some suggestions about the best way to mic a piano -- position, settings, etc. -- if possible. Thanks for anything.

What kind of live piano? We just covered a multi-chapter thread by somebody trying to mic his upright.record from the live piano
