Adding Space In an Existing Song

Hi;
I have a WAV file generated from MuseScore. Because of certain complications with the same, I haven't been able to get the exact repetitions that I want in some of my songs; therefore, I need to manually insert repeats. Ideally, I would find a place in the WAV file and "splice in" a repeat. How do I do this?
TIA,
Beno

Without knowing any more than that, import the performance to Audacity and Import the music bed. Mute the performance track and play the music bed until you get the in and out points of your edit. Drag select between them and Copy. Mute the second track and unmute the performance and figure out where you want to paste the clip.

You may have to go back and forth several times to get it right and this certainly isn't the only way to do it.
