Hi all, first post… I’m new to Audacity and have run into a pretty elementary problem…
So, every time I delete a segment of a clip or add silence to it, Audacity is only allowing me to do it once at a time. By that I mean if I delete/silence something, it’ll work… but then if I try to delete/silence something else, it won’t let me and I have to save the project and reopen it. Then I can delete/silence what I was going to do next… so on and so forth. Sometimes I can delete/silence two or three things before having to repeat this process, but either way this is very time consuming. I’m sure there’s something I’m doing wrong, or that there’s a quick fix I’m just not aware of, but I can’t for the life of me figure it out.
