PROBLEMS WITH AUDICITY 3.2.1

I am running Audacity 3.2.1 on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1

When recording from the internet I usually start the Audacity recording and then start the internet audio file. Since installing 3.2.1 I have the following issues: (1) There is a high pitched whine in the recorded project which starts at about time -1:00. Also, I cannot delete any portion of the project that has a time stamp of less than 0. The high pitched whine is present in the negative time portion of the file. Can anyone help me understand what I’ve done wrong and how to correct it?

What software are you using to route the internet audio into Audacity?

Audacity for Mac is very good or you choose an other application to listen your sound ?
