It is more difficult for me to rename audio clips in the new version of Audacity. The “Rename Clip” or Command - F2 in the edit menu does not work for me. On Catalina 10.15.7. I would appreciate any help with this, since it used to be as easy as clicking on the audio clip name and typing in a new name.
You can double-click in the clip name to select it for editing. The menu item is only available when and entire clip is selected.
If Command+F2 does not work when the menu is active, check System Preferences > Keyboard and ensure that the option “Use F1, F2, etc. keys as function keys” is checked.

Right-clicking on the clip also seems to work. (Windows user).
